As a Special Advisor to higher education institutions, I provide expert guidance to ensure fairness and inclusion in faculty and leadership hiring. I evaluate applicant materials and actively participate in search committees, applying an equity-focused and anti-racist lens to every stage of the process. My role helps institutions identify and address systemic barriers, broaden candidate pools, and uphold commitments to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in recruitment, selection, and retention.

I serve as an External Faculty Mentor at universities where Black and underrepresented faculty are the only ones or among a few.  In this role, I offer tenure-track support in teaching, scholarship, service, and nuanced areas not considered among majority-white faculty and leadership.
